Obligations in Representing Members under the Human Rights Code (*new)
One Day
In this workshop, the learner will:
- Identify the Union’s obligation to represent members on Human Rights matters.
- Identify members’ rights under the Collective Agreement, Human Rights Code and other relevant legislation.
- Explain how and why representation must be provided to members whose rights may be violated.
- Identify available resources to assist with representing members in Human Rights matters
This workshop is for Human Rights & Equity representatives and ONA Representatives.
