One day
In this workshop, the learner will:
- Communicate the purpose of DIPPs.
- Differentiate between Short-Term Disability plans.
- List members’ accountabilities if denied Long-Term Disability (LTD).
- Explain the importance of having LTD benefits.
- List the options for a member who is permanently disabled.
This workshop is designed for Bargaining Unit Presidents, Grievance Chairs, Return to Work representatives, and Unit Representatives.
Note: This workshop is best suited to Bargaining Unit Representatives with two to three years experience. It is advised that members attend Navigating the Collective Agreement and Grievance/Arbitration prior to registering for this workshop.
