Workplace Safety Insurance (WSI) Workshop
One Day
In this workshop, the learner will:
- Identify the three pillars of the health care system.
- Identify insurable injuries and illnesses under Workers’ Safety Insurance Act (WSIA)
- List WSIA benefits and services.
- Learn how to file a claim and appeal.
- Review the "early and safe return to work" (ESRTW) process under the WSIA.
The workshop is designed for WSIA representatives, Return to Work representatives, Health and Safety representatives, Bargaining Unit Presidents, Unit Representatives and Front-line members.
