Board Committees

The four standing Board Committees include Enterprise Risk Management, Governance and Nominations, Quality of Service to Members and Political Action. They provide direct member input to assist the Board of Directors in fulfilling its fiduciary duties and accountabilities.

Bargaining Unit Leadership Roles

Under the ONA Constitution, a Bargaining Unit shall have representation for Negotiations, Grievances, Human Rights and Equity, Labour-Management, Occupational Health and Safety, and Workload and Professional Responsibility. Locals and Bargaining Units may offer more ways to get involved.

Contact your Bargaining Unit President to learn more about opportunities at your Bargaining Unit.

Provincial Teams

Provincial teams let members participate in the planning and operation of various priority areas. We welcome diverse backgrounds, experiences and opinions to help shape our work and policies.

Nurse Practitioner Focus Group

The Nurse Practitioner Focus Group ensures there is a consistent voice for our Nurse Practitioners (NPs). Members of the group liaise with all NPs in their respective regions from all sectors, to obtain feedback, recommendations and concerns. They also bring Focus Group recommendations back to the regional NPs.

Retiree Network Advisory Team

The ONA Retiree Network Advisory Team creates a space for ONA retirees to lend their voice in ONA actions, network with other ONA retirees and attend information sessions on various topics of interest.
