Hospital CEOs are intentionally understaffing our public hospitals and working with the Ford Conservatives to replace some public hospital services with private clinics. This is causing service closures, delays in care for patients, unreasonable workloads for nurses and health-care professionals and unsafe staffing conditions.
Nurses and health-care professionals know the solution. With registered nurse-to-patient staffing ratios, hospital CEOs will be able to recruit and retain staff and ensure that people get the care they need when they need it.
We need Nursing Ratios Now!
ONA nurses, health-care professionals and supporters are taking collective action in large numbers to put pressure on hospital CEOs and the Ford Conservatives to negotiate RN-to-patient ratios.
You can show your support by participating in actions and amplifying our message!
