| Take Action | Provincial Campaigns | Hospital Provincial Bargaining Book-Off: Expression of Interest Form

Over 60,000 ONA hospital members are entering provincial bargaining. Take an active role in the campaign!

There is a lot at stake in this round of bargaining as front-line nurses are facing unprecedented cuts in the hospital sector that are accelerating at an alarming rate. The first half of 2026 brought roughly the same number of position cuts as the entirety of 2025. As we collectively take on hospital Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), hospital members will need the support to organize their own coworkers to win their demands.

Front-line member book-offs will play this role and be trained on how to build power at the Bargaining Unit level by:

  • Learning the specific skills necessary to engage and connect with their coworkers.
  • Developing the structures needed to take on increasingly impactful actions.

To make meaningful strides towards high participation in the sector, we are starting with one hospital per region and recruiting two member book-offs from each site for the duration of this bargaining campaign.
