Nurses and health-care professionals in nursing homes across the province are fighting to stop greedy CEOs. While they rake in record profits, nurses and health-care professionals are fighting against all odds to provide high-quality, timely resident care. They have less staff, fewer resources and more complex care needs – many think about leaving their jobs every day because of poor wages and understaffing.

This is why we need fair pay not more profit. With fair wages, nursing homes will be able to keep staff and protect resident care. By providing high-quality, timely resident care, hospital wait times will decrease because people will get the care they need before it becomes an emergency. It’s simple. Stop greedy CEOs and put profits into fair wages and more staff for better resident care.
