Our Ontario Health atHome (OHaH) provincial bargaining starts later this fall. Thanks to the incredible uptake in our bargaining survey, we’re ready to present what have been identified as key demands.
If you are an ONA Ontario Health atHome member, you are invited to attend a virtual demand-setting meeting on either Tuesday, September 29, or Thursday, October 1, at 7 p.m. ET.
Please register to attend one of the meetings by September 28 at 4:30 p.m. ET.
This is your opportunity to meet with other Ontario Health atHome members and tell your elected negotiating team what you want to see in our bargaining proposals.
In addition to confirming your demands, we will also be conducting a strike mandate vote at this meeting through an anonymous poll. This strike mandate vote is to measure the level of support for the demands you have identified to ensure that the negotiating team addresses all improvements, priorities, and harmonization of all aspects of your collective agreements when finalizing the proposal package to present to your employer. Please be assured that another strike vote will be held prior to any job action.
Please register for only one demand-setting meeting, as we will monitor registration to ensure each member exercises only one vote. Only those participating through Zoom (on a computer or phone app) will be able to vote, as you cannot vote by dialing in or if you are joining in as a group through a colleague’s device.
Don’t miss out! Register now to attend a virtual meeting and help shape the upcoming round of bargaining.
