The OHaH Provincial Negotiating Team represents your interests at the table with the employer. The team is made up of all OHaH Bargaining Unit Presidents, plus two representatives for each of the five regions. The ONA Provincial President, Treasurer, and Chief Executive Officer are also part of the team in a non-voting capacity.
For a full overview of your bargaining team, read the September 11 bargaining update from the OHaHPNT.
OHaH members and leaders are invited to participate in Bargaining Action Team (BAT) meetings to discuss how best to use our collective power. We’ll be strategizing on best ways to keep our colleagues informed, engaged, and empowered.
If you’re interested in attending one of the upcoming BAT meetings, please contact your Bargaining Unit President or any member of the OHaHPNT for the link.
You can find a timeline for our bargaining campaign below.

Bargaining entails having an ear to the ground and understanding what our colleagues are going through. A survey cannot fully capture frustrations, ongoing workplace issues, or give you a direct line to the negotiating team. We encourage your participation at the regional forums, demand-setting meetings, and the vote on proposals.
Additionally, you’ll be hearing of various opportunities to use our collective strength – from signing on to a collective message to decision-makers, to submitting a photo, to attending an in-person action near you.
If you hear of any colleague that isn’t receiving updates you can certainly forward any emails you receive to them to make sure they are aware. However, the most important step they can take is to complete the membership form to ensure they are in our database. Even if you think you’ve filled it already, filling it again if you are not getting emails is helpful to signal ongoing issues.
