Given the amount of time that has passed since bargaining, we are holding a meeting for VON members on Thursday, May 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET. Join us for important updates on next steps in bargaining, an overview of upcoming actions, and for answers to any questions you may have.
Together we can fight for and win your demands! The provincial government has provided more than $1 billion in additional funding for home care, so there are no excuses for your employer to balk on your demands for wage parity with hospital nurses.
If conciliation is unsuccessful, our next steps can include collective workplace actions such as picketing, striking and more. It is important that you attend this meeting so we can walk through options and opportunities.
