On Tuesday, March 18, we are hosting an important meeting where Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) members will vote on two vital issues: the draft proposal package that will be presented to your employer and a strike mandate.
Your employer has refused to agree to voluntary arbitration for this round of bargaining. This means is that our VON membership may be put in a right-to-strike position if an agreement is not reached.
The strike mandate vote is our incredible opportunity to show your employer the power of our collective membership and ensure that the employer knows that ONA is unified and strong in support for our VON members for a fair contract. We will not be bullied.
The meeting will be held over Zoom from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET. Register online to attend and share this information with your colleagues.
You must join the meeting via the Zoom app. You cannot call into the meeting as you will not be able to vote.
