Registered Nurses with Lakeland Long Term Care Vote Unanimously to Join the

PARRY SOUND, August 27, 2025 – Registered Nurses (RNs) working for Lakeland Long Term Care have unanimously voted to join the Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA), the union representing more than 68,000 nurses and health-care professionals, as well as 18,000 nursing student affiliates.

Striking Health Unit Nurses Seek Board of Health Transparency by Filing Freedom of Information Request
